About the Role

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing therapy services to students, developing and implementing educational programs tailored to their unique needs. Your expertise will help shape their educational journey and support their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on thorough evaluations.
• Evaluate students to identify their needs and determine eligibility for therapy services.
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary school teams and communicate effectively with student guardians.
• Provide occupational therapy services according to student IEPs across various grade levels.
• Travel between school locations as needed and supervise assistants when required.

Contract Details

• Hourly Rate: $45 – $47
• Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time
• Start Date: August 2025
• End Date: May 2026
• Location: Geneva, IL
• Bonus: $3000 assignment bonus for new Supplemental Health Care employees

Requirements

• IDFPR Occupational Therapist license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
