Job Duties Join our team as a Warehouse Package Handler, where your primary responsibility will be the efficient movement of packages, documents, and dangerous goods. Your role is essential to ensuring timely and safe deliveries through effective scanning and loading methods. This is a non-driving position, so you will stay focused on warehouse operations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Minimum Education No formal education required. Minimum Experience Entry-level position; no prior experience needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Successful candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level, manage packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance, and endure lengthy periods of walking and standing. Key abilities include: Bending and squatting consistently throughout the work shift. Maneuvering packages above shoulder height. Working in confined spaces and stacking items overhead. Adapting to various weather conditions as required. Climbing stairs and ladders when necessary. Completing all training requirements promptly. Communicating effectively in a noisy environment. Job Conditions This is a non-safety sensitive position. You must maintain a constant state of alertness and prioritize safety at all times. Pay Transparency The starting pay for this position is $18.06 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $24.42 per hour based on experience and other job-related factors. Compensation may also include extra pay, bonuses, and benefits like health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement options, and tuition reimbursement.
