Responsibilities

• Infrastructure evolution and upkeep (code review, new infrastructure, upgrades, migration of services, etc.)
• Advise other teams to help achieve goals securely, providing tooling and infrastructure to meet their needs
• Collaborate with IT team members on tools, automation, and issue resolution
• Participate in on-call rotation to support infrastructure and tooling

Basic Success Criteria

• 3+ years experience with Terraform and Puppet supporting AWS deployments
• Professional scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
• 3+ years managing observability platforms like Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience with device management using MDM
• 3+ years experience with GitOps in GitHub environments (GHA, GHES, etc.)
• Experience working with security teams on infrastructure and tooling

Preferred Success Criteria

• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud and Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Assured workloads, and related services
• Experience with TLS and mTLS protocols
• Software packaging experience
• Understanding of network security protocols (e.g., 802.1x with certs)
• Familiarity with EFI network boot protocols
• Ability to diagnose issues with engineering collaboration
• Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, SSH certificates)
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Network concepts is a plus

This role is based in Mountain View, California, with up to 10% travel required. The salary range is $145,000 to $190,000, complemented by stock options, medical benefits, 401k, and a casual work environment.
