Balance Staffing is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager for placement at a well-known warehouse/storefront company. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about retail operations.

Schedule: Saturday – Wednesday
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
On-Call Availability Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations, including staff coverage and shift planning

• Manage team schedules and time-off requests

• Address and resolve employee concerns professionally and promptly

• Walk the sales floor regularly and ensure products are restocked

• Provide exceptional customer service and handle escalated customer issues

• Train and lead a team with diverse personalities and work styles

• Operate the cash register and assist with point-of-sale transactions

• Sell and promote store inventory/products to customers

• Maintain a positive, energetic presence at all times

• Work in various weather conditions as needed (outdoor and indoor elements)

• Stay on-call as needed to support store and staff needs

Qualifications:

• Prior retail management experience required

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work with and motivate a diverse team

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors

• Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

• Flexible, dependable, and solutions-focused mindset
