We are currently seeking energetic and dedicated part-time teachers/tutors to join our growing team!
Position Overview:
As a Sylvan Teacher, you will provide personalized instruction in reading, writing, math, and study skills using Sylvan’s proven curriculum. You’ll work in a small group setting (3:1 student-teacher ratio), with no lesson planning or grading required—we handle that for you, so you can focus on what you do best: teaching and inspiring students!
What You'll Do:
Deliver Sylvan instruction in a small group environment
Use pre-planned lesson materials—no prep work required!
Motivate students of all skill levels to reach their academic goals
Communicate student progress with Center staff
Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Education or related field preferred)
Teaching certification or tutoring experience preferred
Passion for education and helping students succeed
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Flexible availability (afternoons, evenings, or weekends)
