Job Description We are seeking a skilled Architect to lead all phases of architectural work, including planning, designing, and overseeing construction. The role involves developing new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations, and conservation projects from inception to completion. The primary goal is to align with client needs and produce sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs. Responsibilities Have hands-on experience with Service Oriented Architecture and APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.), along with other modern integration patterns. Collaborate closely with business partners, architects, and technical teams to review, design, and implement requirements and strategies. Establish and enforce API/Integration standards and mentor cross-functional teams as needed. Translate complex functional specifications into technical specifications. Analyze, define, and document system requirements, considering interfaces and interdependencies, and perform coding or configuration to meet documented needs using various procedures and techniques. Ensure the architectural and design integrity and quality of solutions. Be responsible for the delivery of solutions as specified by requirements and architecture. Identify new technologies and development tools as necessary. Liaise with Domain Architects to analyze existing assets (frameworks, reference architectures) to bridge the gap between current and future architectures. Required Skill Set Minimum of 12 years of professional IT experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications. At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Integration/Middleware, including solutioning, development, and support of APIs and integrations using tools like TIBCO, MuleSoft, IBM MQ, DataStage. At least 3 years of solutions architecture experience designing various integration standards. Proven leadership skills, including relationship building, negotiation, collaboration, advocacy, governance, and consensus building. Knowledge of IT application architecture and design methodologies across multiple platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution at all organizational levels. Ability to translate technical ideas and designs for diverse audiences, including executives. Thorough understanding of SDLC methodologies such as waterfall, SCRUM, and Agile. Team-oriented with proven effectiveness in large, matrix organizations. Ability to communicate trade-offs and transactional states effectively with technical and business teams. Capability to implement architecture changes in a dynamic Agile environment. Recommended Experience in retail and eCommerce sectors.
