**NOW HIRING for a** **Quality Assurance Inspector** **Job Description** This position is primarily responsible for performing activities related to the inspection of medical devices using a variety of inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators. **Responsibilities** + Generate inspection records and record general part information. + Perform inspections based on specified techniques such as comparator, gauge, micrometer, caliper, and CMM. + Document readings from inspection points. + Generate non-conforming reports for parts that do not meet specifications. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing drawings. + Proficiency in using metrology equipment, including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges. + Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). + 3-5 years of inspection experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with CMM is preferred. + High attention to detail for inspecting small parts. + Ability to lift 25lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. **Why Work Here?** Join a small to mid-sized company that offers opportunities for cross-training in other departments or processes. Personal protective equipment such as gloves, lab coats, and masks (surgical) are required as needed. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with training conducted during shift hours. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Vista, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
